Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued invitations to foreigners to apply for permanent residence under the Provincial Nominee Program of Express Entry system. The Canadian government conducts draws every two weeks for candidates from the Express Entry pool. The latest round of draws was held on June 19, 2024, and the last was on May 31, 2024.

Foreigners seeking permanent residency in Canada can apply for Canada PR through the provincial nominee program (PNP), to stay, live, and work in a specific province or territory.

On June 19, 2024, 1499 Express Entry invitations were issued to eligible foreign nationals, with the lowest-ranked candidate receiving a CRS score of 663. Date and time of round: June 19, 2024 at 14:37:26 UTC while the Tie-breaking rule date was Tie-breaking rule: January 19, 2024 at 10:10:40 UTC. If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.

The period during which invitations may be issued under these Ministerial Instructions is the period beginning on June 19, 2024 and ending on June 20, 2024.

The previous draw under the Provincial Nominee Program was conducted on May 30, 2024, when 2,985 Express Entry invitations were issued to eligible foreign nationals ranked among the first, with the lowest-ranked candidate receiving a CRS score of 676.

The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) is designed for workers with the necessary skills, education, and work experience to contribute to a specific province or territory’s economy and become permanent residents of Canada. Each province and territory has its own immigration programs targeting specific groups, such as students, businessmen, skilled workers, or semi-skilled workers.

The Canadian government uses the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) to rank candidates based on factors like age, education, work experience, and language ability, with the cut-off score for each Express Entry draw, even the lowest-ranking applicant receiving an ITA for permanent residence, affecting the overall score.
