However, you’ll likely want to visit in summer, when temperatures consistently hit 86°F (30°C). The capital, Athens, has iconic landmarks such as the Acropolis and the Parthenon. Meanwhile, Greek islands like Rhodes and Corfu are home to medieval Old Towns and fortresses. Crete and Kefalonia offer glorious white sand beaches if you’d prefer to soak up the sun. Alternatively, party hard in Mykonos and Zante.

Belgium

Much loved for its medieval cities, beautiful architecture, and world-class chocolate, Belgium is another popular place you can visit on a Schengen Visa. Belgium is only a small country, but it packs a punch with many things to see and do. The capital city, Brussels, is a brilliant starting point. You can visit famous attractions like the Grand Palace, Manneken Pis, and Atomium here

Travelers seeking a more laid-back atmosphere should head to Bruge, a charming city with picturesque canals and well-preserved medieval architecture. There’s also Ghent, a somewhat hidden gem destination home to a breathtaking castle and cathedral. During your time in Belgium, don’t forget to try Belgian beer. According to Budget Your Trip, Bulgaria’s average daily travel cost is only $69.

Sunny Beach is the most obvious place to visit in Bulgaria for sun, sea, and sand. This lively resort town is renowned for its stunning beaches, budget-friendly resorts, and vibrant nightlife. You’ll spend time sunbathing on Central Beach, swimming in the sea, partying on Flower Street, and having fun at Sunny Beach Amusement Park. Other noteworthy places in Bulgaria include Sofia, Varna, and Burgas.

Denmark

Travelers searching for a little bit of everything can’t go wrong with Denmark. I recommend starting your Denmark adventure in Copenhagen, the country’s lively capital. You’ll find world-famous sights and unique attractions here, such as Freetown Christiania and Nyhavn.

Meanwhile, Billund, the home of Lego, is a big hit with families, and Aarhus is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. Iceland

Outdoor enthusiasts can hike, sail, and swim in the Oslo Fjord, and big foodies can eat local food until their bellies are full at Oslo Street Food Market. Italy
