Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has sent Canada Express Entry invitations to select skilled immigrants seeking permanent residence in Canada. The Canadian government conducts regular Express Entry draws, or rounds of invitations, for candidates from the Express Entry pool to apply for permanent residency. The latest round of draws held by Canada issued invitations to apply for permanent residence under the Express Entry system on February 13, 2024.

On February 13, 2024, 1490 Express Entry invitations were issued to eligible foreign nationals ranked among the first 1490, with the lowest-ranked candidate receiving a CRS score of 535. The Date and time of the round was February 13, 2024, at 14:18:53 UTC while the Tie-breaking rule date was February 11, 2024, at 15:26:56 UTC.

Candidates are ranked using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) based on factors like age, education, work experience, and language competency, out of a possible 1200 points.

The cut-off score for Express Entry candidates has fallen by 6 points from 541 to 535 since the January 31, 2024 draw, based on the date and time of submission.

The Canadian government sets immigration targets, and the CRS cut-off score for each Express Entry draw, including the lowest-ranking applicant receiving an ITA for permanent residence, also influences the score.
