Canada sends invitations to apply for permanent residency to foreigners with Canadian Experience Class profile

The Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has sent invitations to foreign nationals interested in getting permanent residency in Canada through the Canadian Experience Class program. Candidates with profiles in the Canadian Experience Class can now apply for permanent residency in Canada.

6300 invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residency under the Express Entry draw for Canadian Experience Class (CEC) were sent out on July 17, 2024. The period during which invitations may be issued under these Ministerial Instructions begins on July 17, 2024 and ending on July 18, 2024.

The date and time of the round was July 17, 2024 at 16:17:31 UTC where the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of the lowest-ranked candidate invited was fixed at 515. The tie-breaking rule was February 03, 2024 at 13:01:06 UTC.

In the previous round , 3,000 invitations to apply for permanent residency under the Express Entry draw for Canadian Experience Class (CEC) were sent out on May 31, 2024.

The Canadian Experience Class is designed for skilled workers who have Canadian work experience and wish to become permanent residents.

To be eligible, you must fulfill all the minimum requirements for Canadian skilled work experience and language proficiency.

Eligibility for the Canadian Experience Class requires one to have at least one year of paid skilled work experience in Canada (or an equivalent amount of part-time work experience) within the three years preceding your application. Additionally, you must have gained this work experience while authorized to work in Canada under temporary resident status.

Your skilled work experience must be compensated, including wages or earned commissions, and not involve volunteer work or unpaid internships.

Furthermore, you are not eligible for the Canadian Experience Class if you have worked without authorization, and your work experience was accumulated while you were not in Canada under temporary resident status.
