Five professions that can help you bag a UK Work Visa

Nearly one in six people living in England and Wales were non-UK born, with Indians constituting the largest chunk, as per the UK government’s 2022 data. Additionally, most UK visas (study, work, and visit) in 2022 were issued to Indians.

So, what is drawing these large numbers to the UK? Cultural ease, top-ranked academic institutions, less time-consuming degree education, and a relatively affordable application process have made the UK a highly desirable education hub.

The re-introduction of a two-year post-study work visa after 2020 have also added to the allure. And so, it’s no surprise that skilled worker visas granted to Indians jumped up by 63% from 2021 to 2022.

Of course, there are some challenges associated with finding a job in a new country, but do you know that having certain skills will make you a more desirable candidate for the UK work visa?
