With warmer months approaching, the interest in applying for Croatia Schengen visa has seen a significant surge among Indians.
According to data provided by Google Trends, the searches in India for Croatia Schengen visa are currently up by 5,000 per cent.
While not everyone who has searched for Croatia’s visa will necessarily apply for the document, the searches still suggest that Croatia will see a high number of applications filed by Indians in the coming months, SchengenVisaInfo reports.
It is believed that the demand will start to especially increase in April, as travel during the spring is very popular among those reaching the bloc.
The number of applications for Croatia Schengen visas is also expected to remain high in May and June as Indians make plans for summer vacations.
To avoid long waiting times, Indians who already have a clear travel plan are advised to apply for a visa without delay.
Applications for a Croatia Schengen visa can be filed six months prior to the planned entry into the country.
On the other hand, the latest Schengen visa application can be filed 15 days before the date of travel. However, taking into account the high demand and the limited number of available slots, it is highly recommended that the visa application is not left for the last minute.
Indians who plan to enter Croatia for tourism purposes need to apply for a short-term visa, which permits them to stay in the country for a maximum of 90 days within any 180-day period.
Holders of a Croatian Schengen visa can also enter the other Schengen member states, and Croatia does not have to be the first point of entry.
Nevertheless, if planning to visit several countries after obtaining a Croatian visa, the majority of the permitted stay days must be spent in Croatia.
