The first event will take place in Vilamoura, scheduled for February 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the Opening Session at 11:00 a.m., at the Centro de Congressos do Algarve. The presence of more than 70 companies in the hotel, restaurant, tourist entertainment and similar industries has been confirmed, aiming to strengthen their teams, including renowned entities such as Pestana, Porto Bay, Unlock Hotels, Discovery Hotel Management, Intercontinental Hotels Group, TUI, Agênicas Abreu, Plateform and Mama Shelter.
Among the main names confirmed to attend this event are André Gomes, President of Turismo Algarve, Domingos Lopes, President of the Conselho Diretivo of IEFP, Hugo Gonçalves, General Manager of Tivoli Marina Vilamoura Resort, and David Pimentel, Vice-President of the CM Loulé.
For the 2nd Edition of the Job Fair in the Algarve, more than 200 participants have already registered. The event has institutional support from partners such as IEFP (Instituto do Emprego e Formação Profissional) and the AHESP (Associação da Hotelaria, Restauração e Similares de Portugal).
António Marto, President of the Fórum Turismo and Founder of The Employment Exchange, highlighted the strategic importance of this region for Portuguese Tourism. “We are very excited to start this new chapter of Job Fairs and return to the Algarve, a region of extreme importance for the country’s tourism sector. We hope to provide new possibilities and valuable connections for the professionals and companies present, as well as fostering the search for opportunities through our employment platform”.
As part of this cycle of opportunities, the dates and locations of the next four fairs were revealed to be the following:
The Alentejo Job Fair will take place on February 20, at Arena d’Évora, marking its first edition in the region.
Followed by the Lisbon Job Fair, on March 1, in the Sala Tejo at Altice Arena.
The Porto Job Fair will occur on March 12, at Palácio da Bolsa.
Competing this cycle, the Centro Job Fair, scheduled for April 16, at the Convento de São Francisco in Coimbra.
