The research revealed that over a quarter of the Maltese population consists of expats, suggesting a less challenging migration process, according to the study.
Hungary was found to be the easiest country to move to, with a difficulty score of 3.85, making it the most accessible for expats.
The countries identified as being the hardest to move to were India, Australia, and Finland.
