Saudi Arabia has introduced a new three-month temporary work visa service that allows companies to issue temporary work visas that allow holders to work for three months from the date of entry.
Applicants for this visa do not need a residence permit or a work permit and the visa can also be extended but the application should be submitted by the employer or authorized representative of Qiwa. Organizations seeking temporary work visas must be active and have a valid commercial registration, except in cases where no commercial registration is required.
Apart from this, companies or businesses with the same unified number must have a sufficient amount in their national unified number in the Absher account and also should not have any work permits that got expired.
Interestingly, this visa requires no documents and is issued by Qiwa immediately.
To apply online for a temporary work visa, the applicant must follow these steps
- Log in to the enterprise’s account on Qiwa platform.
- Select the temporary work visa service from e-services.
- Then, complete all the required fields and submit the request.
- Reasons given for the rejection of a request for the temporary visa include an insufficient balance in the unified number of the enterprise on Absher and rejection from the Ministry of the Interior.
And if a business owner or commissioner submits a cancellation request, the government fees will be refunded and the balance of the temporary work visa will be canceled.
At this time there are several other countries that are giving work visa when H-1B visa holders are struggling to find their place. Recently, Canada also allowed work visas for skilled workers to counter the labour shortage issue in the country.
Last week, as many as three provinces (Ontario, British Columbia and Manitoba) held draws under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). This is the second draw after April 11.
Through PNP anyone can become a permanent resident status but after getting through the PNP, the aspirant must apply to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
